About This Role
Elevate Jet, a FAA-certificated airline operator with nearly 30 years of private aviation expertise, is seeking an experienced Boeing 757 Captain to operate scheduled team travel for the Columbus Blue Jackets NHL franchise. The role is based in Columbus, Ohio with a local residency requirement (within 2-hour drive), operating under Part 125 regulations on dedicated charter flights across the U.S. and Canada. Candidates must hold an FAA ATP certificate with current or previous B757 type rating, minimum 3,000 total flight hours, and 1,000 hours on the B757, preferably with Part 121/125 airline or military background. Requirements
- FAA ATP Certificate
- Current or previous B757 type rating (training may be provided for strong candidates)
- Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1,000 hours on B757
- Previous Part 121, 125, or equivalent airline/military experience
- Valid US passport with one year remaining
- Ability to clear security and background checks
- Ability to travel internationally
- Ability to obtain and maintain required medical certification
- Must pass non-DOT pre-employment drug screening
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Local residency required (within 2-hour drive of Columbus, Ohio)
- Proof of certain vaccinations may be required
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
