Porter Airlines is recruiting bilingual Flight Attendants to join their team based in Toronto, operating Embraer E195-E2 and De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft across North America. As a 4-star rated airline known for refined economy-class service, Porter seeks candidates with strong customer service skills and a commitment to safety. Applicants must be at least 19 years old, hold a valid Canadian or international passport with current US crew visa (C-1/D), and have minimum 2 years of public-facing customer service experience. The role requires fluency in both English and French, ability to work rotating reserve schedules, and successful completion of a 5-6 week full-time training program.
Requirements
- Valid Canadian passport or valid international passport with current US crew visa (C-1/D)
- At least 19 years old at time of employment
- High school diploma
- Mandatory fluency in French and English
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in public-facing customer service role
- Ability to obtain Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and pass company background verification
- Ability to meet medical standards including alcohol and drug screening
- Ability to meet all physical requirements of the position
- Successful completion of 5-6 week full-time training program with 100% attendance and passing all written and practical evaluations
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Safety-focused mindset and ability to work independently
- Ability to work rotating reserve schedule including weekends, holidays, evenings, and nights
- Ability to report to airport within 2 hours notice for assigned flight duties
