About This Role
Ameriflight is seeking an experienced Captain for their Beechcraft 99 cargo aircraft, part of the nation's largest Part 135 cargo airline. The company operates over 150 dedicated cargo aircraft across bases throughout the United States, serving major cargo integrators and freight forwarders. Candidates must meet FAR 135.243(c) PIC requirements including 1200 total hours, 500 PIC hours, and 500 cross-country hours, plus appropriate medical certification and endorsements. This position offers a competitive salary of $76,503 annually with comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision coverage, paid training, type-rating reimbursement, 401(k), and extensive jumpseat privileges with major carriers. Flights operate 5 days per week with morning departures and evening returns, with lodging provided at outstations.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine land rating and instrument rating
- High performance and complex aircraft endorsements
- Minimum 1200 hours total flight time
- Minimum 500 hours PIC
- Minimum 500 hours cross-country (point-to-point)
- Minimum 50 hours multi-engine
- Minimum 75 hours instrument (50 must be in aircraft)
- Minimum 100 hours night flying
- Instrument Proficiency Check or 121/135 recurrent within past 6 months
- Valid First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Current valid Passport
- English proficiency
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted in and out of the U.S.
- Must meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for PIC in IFR conditions
- Must meet airport badging requirements including TSA Security background check
- Valid Driver's License
- Meet all company insurance criteria
- Willing to relocate anywhere within the United States
