About This Role
Air India Express, part of the Air India Group, is recruiting experienced B737 type-rated co-pilots for First Officer and Senior First Officer positions based in Gurugram, India. This opportunity is designed for experienced pilots holding either CPL or ATPL with valid B737 co-pilot endorsement and a minimum of 100 hours post-line release experience on the aircraft. Candidates must be Indian Nationals or Overseas Citizens of India with valid medical fitness (Class I), ICAO English proficiency Level 4+, and a clean safety record. The selection process includes psychometric assessment, personal interview, simulator proficiency test, and pre-employment medical examination, with preference given to candidates available to join immediately.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate B737 aircraft as co-pilot on scheduled airline services
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and briefings
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and airline operations manual
- Manage crew resource management protocols
- Complete required flight documentation and reports
Requirements
- Indian National or Overseas Citizen of India
- Valid CPL or ATPL license
- Current and valid Instrument Rating (IR)
- Valid Pilot's Proficiency Check
- Valid FRTOL (Flight Radio Telephony Operator License)
- Valid COP/RTR (Certificate of Practice / Restricted Test Report)
- B737 Co-Pilot Endorsement (type rating)
- Minimum 100 hours commercial airline experience post line release on B737
- Valid Class I Medical fitness assessment certificate
- ICAO Aviation English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above
- Maximum age limit: 40 years (45 years for Defence Pilots with B737 Rating and ATPL)
- Clean incident/accident-free record for preceding 3 years
- Breath analyzer clearance
- No enforcement action by DGCA in preceding 3 years
- Mandatory eGCA-id with all licenses and documents validated
