About This Role
Pacific Coastal Airlines is hiring permanent full-time B1900 First Officers to join its flight crew in Vancouver. The regional airline emphasizes work-life balance, career advancement, competitive compensation, and travel across British Columbia. Compensation includes a $55.00/Credit Hour base ($52,800/year minimum), $5.10/duty-hour per diem, a guaranteed minimum of 80 flying credits per month, jump seat and travel benefits, and full extended health/dental coverage.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Serve as B1900 First Officer flying regional routes across British Columbia from international airports to destinations such as Tofino, Bella Bella, and Bella Coola, as part of the seasoned flight crew based in Vancouver.
Requirements
  • 500 hours Total Time
  • CPL with IATRA or ATPL (IATRA must be completed within the last 18 months)
  • Current Multi Engine IFR
  • Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate
  • Bond applies
  • ability to travel away from home including overnights
  • flexibility to work varying shifts
  • ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card
  • must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or hold a valid permit to work in Canada
  • ability to travel to/from the United States without restrictions
  • ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Preference is given to candidates with a type rating, multi-crew, multi-engine, IFR, and/or turbine experience in 600/702/703/704/705 or military operations.
