About This Role
NV5 is seeking an Assistant Chief Pilot to support the Director of Flight Operations for NV5 Geospatial, a global technology solutions company with over 4,500 professionals. The role involves mentoring pilots, managing flight operations compliance, conducting missions, and supervising personnel across multiple U.S. bases. Candidates must hold an FAA Commercial Multi-Engine pilot license with 1,000+ total hours and 1+ years PIC experience under Part 91, 135, or 121 operations. Requirements
- FAA Multi-engine Commercial pilot license
- Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time
- 100 hours turbine experience
- 250 hours multi-engine experience
- 1+ years experience as pilot-in-command under CFR Part 91, 135, or 121
- FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
- Willing to travel up to 75%
- Willing to work 16 days on/12 days off rotation
