Breeze Airways is hiring Direct Entry Captains for their Airbus A220 fleet across the United States. Candidates must have a minimum of 3,000 total flight hours, 2,000+ hours in large transport category aircraft, 500+ PIC hours on Group II transport category aircraft, and 500+ hours of Part 121 PIC time within the last three years, along with a valid FAA ATP certificate. Requirements
- FAA Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with airplane multi-engine class rating
- Minimum 3,000 hours fixed wing time
- 2,000+ hours total time in large, Group II transport category, fixed-wing aircraft (turbojet aircraft exceeding 41,000 lbs. maximum takeoff weight)
- 500+ hours of PIC in large, Group II transport category aircraft
- 500+ hours of Part 121 PIC time within the last three years
- Actively flying two of the past five years
- Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate
- Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Valid passport
- Unrestricted ability to travel to and from the United States
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 23 years old at time of hire
- Pass DOT pre-employment drug test
- Pass TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check and Breeze background check
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
