About This Role
CAE Australia is seeking an Air Refuelling Operator Instructor for the KC-30A tanker program based at RAAF Base Amberley. This is a defense training role supporting the Australian Department of Defence with simulator and ground training delivery for air refuelling operators. Candidates must have strong air-to-air refuelling experience with a minimum of 1000 hours as an Air Refuelling Operator and 100+ hours as an Instructor, plus military AAR experience on multiple tanker platforms. Applicants must be Australian Citizens eligible for Defence Security Clearance and willing to obtain Cert IV Training and Assessment qualification. This on-site position offers the opportunity to impact Australian defence capabilities while working with CAE, a global leader in simulation and training technology.
Requirements
- Strong Air to Air Refuelling experience on KC-30A/MRTT, KC-135, KC-10 or KC-46
- Minimum 1000 hours experience as an Air Refuelling Operator
- Minimum 100 hours experience as an Instructor
- Previous military AAR Boom, hose and drogue experience
- Qualifications and experience to be authorised as a competent simulator instructor
- Cert IV Training and Assessment certification (held or willing to obtain)
- Must be Australian Citizen
- Eligible to obtain Defence Security Clearance
- On-site work at RAAF Base Amberley, QLD
