V2X is seeking an AH-64 Instructor/Operator to support the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) in Kuwait City, Kuwait. The Instructor provides instruction and guidance on the AH-64 model D/E where training is conducted at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait and includes Kuwaiti students. Candidates must have 5+ years as an aviator with the last AH-64D/E flight within the last 12 months.
Requirements
- High School Graduate required
- Associate or bachelor's Degree desired
- Graduate of the U.S. Army AH-64D/E Instructor Pilot and Methods of Instruction course
- 5+ years as an aviator required with last AH-64D/E flight within the last 12 months
- AH-64Ev6 qualification preferred
- Minimum of 1000 hours as pilot in the AH-64D/E
- Minimum of 250 hours as Instructor Pilot in the AH-64D/E
- Computer literate
- Ability to support periodic travel
- Familiar with the operation of a military flight training base
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and lift a maximum of 50 pounds
- Must have and maintain a current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) second-class Medical Certificate
- Must be able to walk and/or climb stairs and ladder into a simulator or airplane cockpit
- Must be able to stoop, bend, and crawl on top or under training devices
- Must be able to detect odors or hear noises, bangs, etc., or other sounds to detect problems or flaws in the surrounding environment
- Must be able to distinguish colors
- Must be able to meet requirements to obtain Work Permit and Residency Visa in Kuwait
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Able to obtain a US Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and Kuwait Driver’s License
- Must possess a US Passport with at least 2 years of remaining eligibility
