About This Role
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) seeks experienced multi-engine turboprop pilots to operate Beechcraft KingAir aircraft on aeromedical missions across remote Queensland communities. This role offers meaningful work delivering life-saving care with the advantage of home-based scheduling, operating from multiple regional bases with a modern fleet.
Requirements
- Current Instrument Rating for Multi-Engine Aircraft with four or more renewals
- Current Australian ATPL or CPL with Class 1 medical in Single Pilot Operations
- 4000 hours total flying time
- 2000 hours Pilot in Command
- 1000 hours Pilot in Command Multi-engine aircraft
- 200 hours Pilot in Command at night
- 200 hours instrument time
- Turbine experience
- Australian Citizenship, Residency or approved work Visa
- Ability to obtain and hold a Blue Card
- Australian Command Multi-Engine Instrument Rating or military equivalent
- Physically able to manage manual handling of patients and equipment
- Flexible regarding preferred working location
- Simulator assessment in Maroochydore required
