About This Role
Air India Group is recruiting experienced A320 Type Rated Co-Pilots (First Officer and Senior First Officer positions) based in Gurugram, India. The airline is seeking Indian Nationals or Overseas Citizens of India with a minimum of 500 hours on Airbus 320 Family aircraft and valid CPL or ATPL licenses. Candidates must be under 40 years old (45 for defence pilots with ATPL), hold a valid Class I Medical Certificate, and demonstrate ICAO English Level 4+ proficiency. Selection involves psychometric assessment, personal interview, simulator flight test, and pre-employment medical examination, with preference given to candidates available for immediate joining.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate A320 aircraft as co-pilot on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-flight checks and crew briefings
- Maintain compliance with safety and operational procedures
- Perform aircraft systems monitoring and management
Requirements
- Indian National or Overseas Citizen of India
- Valid CPL or ATPL license
- Current and valid IR (Instrument Rating)
- Valid Pilot's Proficiency Check (PPC)
- Valid FRTOL (Flight Radio Telephony Operator's License)
- Valid COP/RTR (Conversion of Pilot/Renewal of Type Rating)
- A320 Co-Pilot Endorsement
- Minimum 500 hours on Airbus 320 Family Aircraft post line release
- Valid Class I Medical Certificate
- ICAO Aviation English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above
- Maximum age 40 years (45 years for defence pilots with ATPL)
- Incident/accident free record in preceding three years
- No breath analyzer or DGCA enforcement action in preceding three years
- Mandatory eGCA-id with all licenses and documents validated
