About This Role
KM Malta Airlines (KMMA), the national airline of the Maltese Islands, is recruiting non-type-rated Direct Entry Captains (Pilot-in-Command) for its Airbus A320NEO fleet, based in Malta on a definite or indefinite contract. The carrier operates a young, single-type fleet of eight A320NEOs on scheduled passenger and cargo services connecting Malta to 20 hubs across 18 European cities. Because the posting is for non-type-rated Captains, applicants do not need to already hold the A320 rating at application.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command (Captain) on KM Malta Airlines' Airbus A320NEO fleet, operating the national carrier's scheduled European passenger and cargo services from its Malta base across the airline's network of 20 hubs in 18 cities, upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism and operational excellence.

Requirements
- Valid EASA or ICAO Part-FCL ATPL.
- Valid Class 1 medical certificate.
- A minimum of Level 5 English language proficiency or higher.
- Minimum total flying of 5000 hours on CS-25 aircraft.
- Minimum flying of 1500 hours as PIC.
- A320 type rating is not required.
- Submit a cover letter detailing work experience, licence, medical and the last ten logbook pages.
- Selection includes an interview, psychometric assessment and simulator evaluation.
