Airbus Canada is recruiting an A220 Synthetic Flight Instructor to conduct flight crew training at their Mirabel training center. Requires minimum 3000 total flight hours, 1500 hours on multi-pilot aircraft, and 3+ years commercial aviation experience. This is a permanent position based in Mirabel, Canada with worldwide travel requirements.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Frozen ATPL or full ATPL license
- Minimum 3000 hours total flight time as pilot
- Minimum 1500 hours on Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA)
- Minimum 3 years commercial aviation experience as pilot on FAR25/CS25 or FAR23/CS23 aircraft in Multi-Pilot Operation
- Fluent in English
- Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) as pilot
- Evidence-based training / Competency Based Training Assessment expertise
- Current and experienced as Captain and Flight Instructor on A220 (BD-500) preferred
- Synthetic Flight Instructor Authorization or instructor experience preferred
- Examiner experience preferred
- Project management mindset
- Managerial experience preferred
- Flight Safety experience preferred
- Available for worldwide business travel
- Commuting to Mirabel not possible - must be based locally
