About This Role
Breeze Airways is seeking an A220 Ground Instructor to provide ground-based instruction for new hire and recurrent training in their Flight Operations department at the Breeze Training Academy in Salt Lake City. The instructor will develop and deliver classroom training for pilots and participate in joint CRM training with dispatchers, flight attendants, and maintenance personnel. Candidates need a minimum of 2+ years of aviation instructor experience and must be authorized to work in the United States. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide ground-based instruction for new hire pilots
- Conduct recurrent ground training for pilots in the Airbus fleet
- Ensure course content meets regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with Manager of Ground Training Systems to ensure curriculum standardization
- Prepare and maintain accurate, error-free training records and documentation
- Maintain classrooms and training facilities in clean, neat condition
- Review company, industry, government, and related publications to stay current on methods and regulations
- Participate in development and presentation of special training efforts
- Prepare and maintain presentations and provide classroom training
- Assist in planning, coordination, and scheduling of classroom training
- Instruct curriculum segments common to other training programs
- Conduct Joint CRM training with pilots, dispatchers, flight attendants, and maintenance personnel

Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of aviation instructor experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Satisfactorily complete required training
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test
- Must pass TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check
- Must pass Breeze background check
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English language
- Previous Part 121 flight crewmember experience (preferred)
- Previous airline or aviation classroom teaching experience (preferred)
