About This Role
Breeze Airways is seeking an A220 Flight Instructor to deliver comprehensive training for initial, recurrent, upgrade, and requalification pilot curriculums at their Training Academy in Salt Lake City. Candidates must hold an unrestricted FAA ATP certificate with multi-engine class rating and have previous US Part 121 pilot experience. The role involves classroom instruction, Flight Training Device (FTD), and Full Flight Simulator (FFS) training, covering normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures on the A220. Requirements
- Unrestricted FAA ATP certificate with airplane multi-engine class rating
- Previous US Part 121 pilot experience
- At least 23 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to complete Breeze initial pilot training
- High performance orientation and ability to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test
- Must pass TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check and Breeze background check
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Ability to walk up and down stairs and on hydraulic bridge unassisted
- Ability to get in and out of flight deck seats and reach overhead panel switches
- Ability to fit through simulator escape hatches
- Ability to use escape rope for emergency egress
- Locally based and responsible for own transportation to training facility
