About This Role
Pilot in Command / Captain on the Gulfstream G450 at Thrive Aviation, a private/charter jet operator. Responsible for safe and efficient ground and in-flight operation of the aircraft, mentoring First Officers, and delivering high-end guest service on overwater, long-haul, international missions. Reports to the Chief Pilot.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Administratively responsible to the Chief Pilot.
- Primarily responsible for safe and efficient ground and in-flight operation of the aircraft.
- Check identification of all passengers before they board the aircraft.
- Ensure pre-flight check list is thoroughly completed.
- Train and mentor First Officers on assigned flights and aircraft.
- Anticipate customers' needs and exceed their expectations.
- Comply with FAA and international aviation regulations, Thrive's GOM, Operational Specifications, and department operating procedures.
- Maintain communications and coordination with assigned crew, dispatch, maintenance, and administration.
Requirements
- Must have and maintain FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Must have a minimum of 4,000 hours of total time with at least 1,000 hours of multi-engine time as PIC.
- Must have prior experience with overwater, long-haul, international missions.
- Must reside in, or within two hours of, one of the listed US airports (LAS highly preferred).
- Pilot Certificate.
- Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Permit.
- Valid US Passport.
- Current type rating in the applied aircraft is highly desired.
- Eligible to fly internationally into any country or jurisdiction without restrictions.
